Publishing Task 2

 For my main assignment website, I have decided I would like to make a floristry-inspired shop.

I hope to be able to build an aesthetically pleasing website that allows customers to browse and find the products they would like to purchase efficiently.

I have decided the two UX designs that I would like to implement into the website would be (1) always be able to redirect yourself to the home page from any other page on the website. (2) A simple order form or contact form for ordering flower bouquets.

I want to implement these UX designs into my website because I think that will make the experience  much more enjoyable especially if I am able to decrease the number of clicks it takes to get to where you need to be on the website. This might also help people who find it difficult to manoeuvre through some websites and get overwhelmed.

In order to complete this UX design I will search for plugins that can help the overall design of my website and help users navigate it easier, If needs be I will alter the theme and  I will add code snippets where I can. At this given time I do not have any screenshots of tests I have done to see if I am able to complete what I want to accomplish on my website as I am not at that stage in my website development. However, I am confident that I will be able to figure a way to make what I have envisioned for my website become a reality. 

Good-designed UX websites -.This is one good example that I found the designer had used UX, You can find exactly what you want in a few simple clicks, and it is easy to navigate without getting lost. 

The colour scheme and design layout also plays a big part in the overall aesthetic and how clean it is to manoeuvre the website.


This is a screenshot of the UX designed website that I find is a great example. It took me 2 clicks to get to the contact page which is something I would like to have on my own website.

Publishing Task 3

 Migration  For CA2 I got cracking on it straight after I finished CA1 in case anything went wrong and while I still had the process of how to do everything fresh in my mind. I was pretty confident about doing this CA2 however I did run into a few issues along the way. the first being with my hosting site. My domain did not want to work for some unknown reason and I had to buy another domain which also did not work I had tried to contact IFastNet to see if if the issues could be resolved but they had not gotten back to me. I eventually spent in total about 50Euro in hosting and finally one of them worked. So I started to get on with the rest of CA2, Everything went as planned and I used plug ins for making a contact form and for creating a basket and wishlist for customers who wish to purchase products off my site.
